This page shows the contribution of genomics to the breeding value and the reliability of the sire. This is calculated as:
genomic breeding value - conventional breeding value and: genomic reliability - conventional reliability. A '+' indicates a positive contribution to the breeding value or reliability due to genomics.
The conventional breeding value is the value based solely on daughter information - without genomic info. For sires without daughter information this is the parent average (PA).
Information of the dam is not used to compute the genomic breeding value, but this information is included in the parent average. For sires without daughters the difference shown is therefore a result of including genomic information and omitting dam-information.
